The technogel® insert in the heel absorbs more shock than other pads or gels. -Why is the technogel® insert placed in the heel? The ball of the foot is a natural shock absorber. The heel takes the shock upon impact. The technogel® helps absorb the shock. -What is the “lotus profile” natural rubber sole? The lotus profile is the pattern used for the natural rubber. It was designed to have enough points of contact with the floor to provide the right amount of traction – avoid slipping but spins, turns, illusions and pirouettes are still done with ease . -Which shoe provides the most support? The Pro provides the most support and has the largest surface area for the technogel®. -Which is the best shoe to use for practice? The Pro offers the most support… so for long practices or hard surfaces… this is the one I’d want. -What are the benefits of the Gym and Dance? The Gym and Dance have split soles that accentuate beautiful toe point and are great for showing off leaps and leg extension. Unlike some dance shoes that wear down quickly and become slippery, the Venturelli® lotus design offers just the right amount of connection with the floor.
